Ubuntu 22.04 LTS support?

Wondering what the outlook for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS support is looking like? 20.04 LTS is only going to give ~2 years of support, ending in April of 2025 however 22.04 LTS is good through April 2027. If I'm going to fork truck my cPanel fleet to Ubuntu, I want to get as much time as possible out of it. Any input from cPanel staff would be greatly appreciated. Thank you =)

  Are you suggesting that if I use this link to "Cpanel & WHM for Azure BYOL" and choose Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS - x64 Gen2 under Trusted Launch, this is the recommended method ?

  I don't believe the one you are referring to is the BYOL of Cpanel/WHM, it's just a plain 22.04 VM, and then you'd have to get Cpanel installed manually.

  According to cPanel site:

  "We strongly recommend you only create a virtual machine from the cPanel & WHM marketplace listing. Creating an Azure virtual machine directly from the Virtual machines interface will not configure some settings properly."

  I don't see a BYOL version for 22.04.

  There wasn't a marketplace listing for 22.04 LTS with cPanel when I configured the VM, so I installed cPanel manually.  Don't know if any settings were not configured properly, but as you can now get a pre-built image, you might as well use that.
