How mail suspension works
Does anyone know how the per-inbox mail suspension works for incoming mail?
I've noticed for outgoing the email address will appear in:
`/etc/outgoing_mail_suspended_users`
And setting it to "hold" puts the email in:
`/etc/outgoing_mail_hold_users`
However haven't found how the incoming suspension works.

Hey there! We create a .user@domain.com.suspended_incoming file in /home/username/etc that is an empty touch file to indicate the account has the incoming email suspended. Let me know if that's what you're looking for! 0 -
Hey @cPRex, Thanks for the update! I'm curious, can that file not be simply deleted and remove the suspension? I suppose this type of suspension isn't the same as an account suspension where you can lock the account from being unsuspended. I'll give a try and see what happens! 0 -
Yes, you can remove that file and the suspension is undone, but, only the cPanel admin would have access to the option in the user interface or on the command line. 0
