Initial Quota Setup when quotas are already enabled
I was going through checking the configuration on a cpanel server. I clicked "initial quota setup" thinking it was going to show me options on how quotas were setup. To my surprise it actually ran something, then sent a message saying it wouldn't take effect until I rebooted the server. I haven't rebooted yet. The thing is, quotas are already set up and operational on this server. In that case, is the "initialization" actually going to harm the current setup if the system is rebooted? Has it done anything at all yet, or does the entire process take place after reboot? If so, is there a way to cancel it (unset whatever flag is telling to it to initialize quotas after reboot or something)?

Hey there! If quotas are already in place and working, clicking that button doesn't do anything and won't hurt the existing quotas. If you don't need to reboot the server, there is no reason to at this time. 0 -
