Manage huge domlogs

I have about 20 G domlogs (/var/log/apache2/domlogs) despite having enabled all options in WHM's "cPanel Log Rotation Configuration". Is there a safe way to delete those files or to stop them from becoming so huge? I also see some huge files with .com and .org extensions there (after the domain name), what are these for?
