Are there hook events for HTTP requests?

Hi, I am wondering if cPanel has hookable events for the HTTP requests? I am reaserching if it's possible to implement a WAF into cPanel that could abort incoming requests that are potentially dangrous, or record and investigate HTTP 404 destinations.
