Email fails to send after migration - urgent help please
Hello,
I'm around 2/3rds the way through a server migration. I moved a bunch of accounts over the weekend that use email heavily.
At this stage most appear to have moved without issue but I have some that just refuse to accept mail from the sender and the email sits in the sender's outbox.
I'm trying to figure out why they won't send.
I have two nameserver host records defined at my registrar for the domain, my old server with accounts still on it serves as NS1.
I have a DNS Only machine NS2.
I have a new server which I am moving accounts to and the old server is proxying the requests.
Any pointers to try and solve this gratefully received, this is really really stressful.
Thank you.

Never mind. I've worked it out. Basically the new server only accepts connections to send email on specific ports - secured ones with SSL/TLS. If the ports are incorrectly set in the sender's device then the connection just drops and mail sits in the outbox. 0 -
Glad that the issue is resolved. 0
