interesting backup issue
We configured a backup via WHM Backup.
After the backups were taken incrementally, we set the backup settings to google drive and FTP. However, the accounts parts in the backups stay inside the server, save to G Drive and FTP only as system/system_files.tar. All accounts are selected in settings. Why doesn't it also transfer accounts to FTP and GDrive?
Also, if it can be done, is there a way to not keep any backups on the server and send the backups directly to FTP and GDrive?
Please Help, because my backups are currently only on the server and all disk space is full, and it shuts down when it's full, and for now I was able to get it working by simply deleting a few accounts.

In your main configuration, uncheck this box: "Retain Backups in the Default Backup Directory" This should cause backups to be transferred to the remote location, then deleted from the local server. 0 -

That box is already unchecked :/0 -
Is that backup directory possibly an NFS mount or other type of remote drive? 0 -

Thanks for the confirmation. The next thing would be to check the logs in /usr/local/cpanel/cpbackup_transporter to see if there is any reason the system may think the backup partially failed, which would keep it from clearing out the local entries. 0 -

Thanks, I checked the logs, it successfully connects to gdrive and ftp, it only creates and sends system_files.tar files and exits. never tried accounts.0 -

Thanks a lot for your help. I bought jetbackup and will try it from there. 0 -

For pretty minimal cost, JetBackup provides a lot more functionality/flexibility vs. the built in cPanel backup.0
