Email IP routing and Wordpress
Hi all,
I have absolutely zero experience with the back end of website management, so I kindly ask that we go through this nice and slow.
The problem I have is the way our website is set up is the Wordpress website is connected to cPanel via A and TXT records to enable users to be forwarded on to the website I've constructed since it was created on a separate Wordpress account rather than through the cPanel plugin. However, I wish to use cPanel's email system to handle the emails on the domain rather than having them forwarded directly to the Wordpress IPs. As a result, the cPanel email addresses will happily send emails, but will bounce anything it receives.
To cut a long story short, is there a way to direct emails on this domain away from the Wordpress IP so it can be handled and routed by cPanel exclusively? Our small club cannot really afford an additional "32 a month just for the sake of email routing on Wordpress's end via plugins.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
