How to Change OPCache Settings?

Hi, I want to change the OPCache settings. And find there are multiple ways to do so: 1. This article suggests to use MultiPHP INI Editor, which seems to be specific to PHP version and I need to use the editor mode to manually add settings. So, which one is correct? I am just confused.

  Option 1 is correct. These are module-specific settings that are essentially added as an include for php.ini. I suppose #3 would would as well but I haven't tried it personally.
