Is it safe to restart server during MySQL upgrade to v8.0?
Hello, I was checking my server to upgrade to AlmaLinux 8 and it recommended me to upgrade MySQL version to 8.0 with following command.
I have ran that but every I run pre-upgrade check
it says [QUOTE]MySQL upgrade in progress. Please wait for the MySQL upgrade to finish.
It's been 3 days and I think it is stuck or something. But I have more than a thousand of websites on my server. Could it be the reason of this much time taking? When I check in the WHM (Home / SQL Services / MySQL/MariaDB Upgrade), I found the message saying "last MySQL upgrade was failed". Should I restart my server and run the upgrade again from WHM?
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/whmapi1 start_background_mysql_upgrade version=8.0
I have ran that but every I run pre-upgrade check
/scripts/elevate-cpanel --check --upgrade-to=almalinux
