Stop automatic updates?

I just noticed my server upgraded WHM/Cpanel to v112.0.7 automatically. how do I stop this? I was on 112.0.5. I can't find the setting in WHM to make all updates manual. This does not work: Step1: Login to WHM. Step2: Go to Home >> Server Configuration >> Update Preferences. Step3: Click on Disable Automatic Updates Step4: Click on Save. * THERE IS NO STEP 3.

  I see, so if I set my UDPATES=manual in /etc/cpupdate.conf it will work like before? Where WHM will tell me a new version is available, I can then click Update and it will do it. Is this ok?

  Yes. Setting UPDATES to manual in that file will disable auto updates like you want. You can then perform an upgrade at any time you're ready to do so.
