Issue installing on Amazon Linux

Trying to get whm/cpanel installed on a newly created Amazon Linux EC2 instance. When running the installation, all appears to go well, except I get this Verifying archive integrity... All good. Unknown distro at /home/cPanelInstall/selfgz30564/Installer.pm line 42.[root@ip-172-31-84-197 home]# From what I can tell, Amazon Linux is a valid platform? Is there a program that we need to install, or an adjustment in order to get cpanel in place? I've done some searching, but no definitive answers as to what that line 42 is or how to get by it.
