Upgraded cPanel to latest build, but still shows old version?
I just upgraded our cPanel to the latest version. Said it was completed. But the version at the top of the WHM is still the same. ?

I checked one of the bugs that was present in the old version of cPanel that we had and it is now working. This was the issue with WebMail Dark Mode where the screen panes overlapped on some screens. Well this seems to be fixed. So, it would appear the upgrade worked but the version number hasn't changed. 0 -
But I checked the Automatic Configuration Scripts and I don't see the additional scripts that you showed me that are included in the newer cPanel version. So, I'm not sure if we got a partial upgrade or what. But the version number still shows the old version. How do I find the upgrade logs? I've been poking around but haven't found them. I didn't notice any error messages as the upgrade was taking place but..... Okay, the other day the cPanel version we had was 110.0.11. I just noticed that the version we had before I ran the upgrade last night was 110.0.12. Huh? Are these upgrades happening automatically? No one else would have ran the upgrade. Is there a place we can check to see if these are being pushed automatically? Also, I thought 114..... was the latest version? But this change log link in the WHM shows 110.0.12 is the latest? 0 -
The logs are in /var/cpanel/updatelogs/ last is a symlink to the latest update, if not just ls -lt and you'll see them. 0 -
What operating system are you using? 0 -
CloudLinux v7.8.0 STANDARD vmware 0 -
There you go - you aren't able to update past version 110 on that operating system. 0 -
oh. I see. And just to verify, these minor upgrades are done automatically? Because one day we were at 110.0.11 then the next 110.0.12. Is there a setting for that? It's kinda nice that they are done automatically if that is the case. Thank you for the info! 0 -
Correct - minor version updates are performed as part of the nightly maintenance update. 0
