Email deliverability issue
Moving some accounts between 2 cpanel servers. There were some minor issues w/ the Nameservers early on, but everything seems to be sorted now.
However, I've gotten this message from google twice trying to send mail to the accounts on the new server:
TLS Negotiation failed: FAILED_PRECONDITION: starttls error (71): 57759668031872:error:10000458:SSL routines:OPENSSL_internal:TLSV1_ALERT_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME:third_party/openssl/boringssl/src/ssl/tls_record.cc:592:SSL alert number 112
Can someone decrypt this for me? Is it an issue with the SSL cert transfer? Will re-installing the certificate(s) help?

Hey there! That does seem to indicate an issue with the SSL certificate on the system. When you say you received the notification from Gmail, was this part of an email bounceback or a separate email altogether? Do you have a valid SSL in place on the hostname of the server? This would be the same SSL that you use to access the WHM interface. 0 -

Yes, I (as the sender) was getting a notification from google the mail could not be delivered to an account on the server. I think I've found the problem though. I think it was a file permission issue in the account folder located in /var/cpanel/ssl/domain_tls I will know for sure in the next 12 hours if no more bounce notifications show up, bot for now I think you can check this one off the list. I'm glad you were able to track that down! 0
