Hello, I use cPanel 114.0.11 on Ubuntu. Following this article,

  Hey there! You are correct, and we have case CPANEL-43511 open with our developers to have them get that resolved so it doesn't show that option on Ubuntu systems. I'll be sure to post an update here once I hear more about that case.

  Thanks, and what is being done to solve the actual vulner? do you speak with Canonical to solve it?

  We don't have any affiliation with Canonical, and I'm not sure how they would be related to this.

  Regardless of affiliation, I think you should be proactive about it and approach them about - you both large companies who serve many customers, and I guess you both care about security. We don't know even if they are aware about this issue, thus if they do something about it. Please contact them, cooperation is better.
