root does not have a DB map! at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/DB/Map.pm line 195
Hello.
This one popped up today, first time it's been reported.
/usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log:
"root" does not have a DB map! at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/DB/Map.pm line 195.
I ran the script rebuild_dbmap as follows:
/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/rebuild_dbmap root --noop
But the output is always as follows for the root user:
Usage:
rebuild_dbmap [options] username
Options:
--noop Print the DB map that this would create without actually changing anything.
--help Print this message.
NOTE: This script is EXPERIMENTAL. Use with caution!
It's worth noting that the output is different for account users who have mySQL databases.
Without the "--noop" flag, this script would generate and install the following database map data:
---
MYSQL:
accountname_database: - accountname_dbuser
So, is this just noise that can be safely ignored?
cPanel Version 114.0.12
Server version: 8.0.35 MySQL Community Server - GPL
Thanks.

Hey there! Can you let me know what actions led to this error being generated? Is this possibly related to WHMCS? 0 -
I did a search through old log files and I found another instance of it, but only one! That instance happened on a totally different server of ours that was running CL6 back in May this year. In June we had a new CL8 server provisioned and all the accounts were migrated over to it using Live Transfer. There has been no server administration carried out beyond the restoration of a client's deleted account using R1Soft two days prior. 0 -
Well that's interesting :D Is there something broken, or did you happen to see this in a log file somewhere? I don't really have any good info on this one on my end as I only see it coming up one other time in our ticket history as well, and that instance was related to a bad custom database query. In general, I don't think I'd expect root to have a dbmap, actually. If it's just a one-off log entry, I'd ignore it. If you can make the error happen with a specific server, we'd probably want to see a ticket on this. 0
