more then one /home directory, choose it while creating new account?

As title says we would like to have more then one /home directory, like /home2, /home3. They will be on different disks (SSD's and HDD's). Reason is because we have clients that use only e-mails and they need more storage so we would put them on /home2 which is on HDD, and other users will be on high speed but more expensive /home which is on SSD. Is it possible to do this? We can manually change default /home folder each time that we create a new account but this looks like an unnecessary job and I am not sure will it create some complications. It would be much easier to choose /home, /home2, /home3... while creating a new account. Any advice is welcome. EDIT: found feature request, it looks like something that I need but there is no progress in the last 6 years.

  Hey there! Unfortunately, flipping the default option for /home is still the best option. There was a recent feature request for this behavior:

  No, that won't cause any issues at all.

  You could just use Rearrange an Account in WHM after the account is created to quickly move an account to the preferred home directory. It's not an automated solution, but an option nonetheless.
