How to edit customer error documents
Customer wants to edit error documents (cp_errordocument.shtml, 400.shtml, etc.) to add custom info. Changes aren't displayed; the default pages are rendered.
We tried editing, same results. The only real info regarding these error pages all apply to WHM error documents. What needs to be done to allow those users's edits to be displayed?

What's up with 'Pending approval' of posts and also the crappy layout of the new forum format? Has anybody looked at what the code blocks look like?

The post moderation was a bit too aggressive initially - I've made an adjustment to that so it should keep things from being in the pending queue that don't need to be.
Code blocks seem to be working well for me:
here are some words in a code block
so I'd need a specific example of a code bock issue so I could take a look at that.
As far as the main issue, we started including those error pages in version 94 so people could edit them directly in their own docroot. If a user edits /home/username/public_html/cp_errordocument.shtml, I would expect that edit to stick, as there is nothing in cPanel that overwrites those changes. As an example, I put some random text in the file on one of my sites and it looks like this:
Is it possible that your system has caching tools, such as nginx, that could be serving the old page?

Code block issues were noticed in several old posts that I was looking at. The text was run-on and wasn't clearly delineated from the rest of the text. If I come across any others, I'll pass them on.
Thanks for adjusting the moderation.
The error doc issue was a perms issue; corrected - thanks!
Now that we've successfully addressed 3 separate issues in one post, we should celebrate.

So, this post is now pending approval.

I see *why* the post is pending approval, but the reason doesn't make any sense to me. I'm going to reach out to Zendesk to see why that is happening and I'll let you know what I find out.
As to the other issues with code blocks, there were multiple different BB Code types in Xenforo and Zendesk, with no direct relation between them, so we couldn't fix them all, unfortunately. We took the path of "catch the most we can" but there are still like outliers, like the one you found.
I'll follow up here once I have more details.

I talked to Zendesk and they confirmed my suspicions about why this is in moderation. I've made an adjustment on my end so that shouldn't happen again!

Thanks!
