I am James but choose to use a handle rather than my real name. There are some good security oriented reasons for that but most of my reasoning is I get to have cool names, LOL. Most of my online handles have reflected either my atheism or interest in vampyres (or both) and currently I go by the handle of Kekerusey which is Na'vi (yes the fictional language of Cameron's Pandora aliens) for undead ... it literally translates as "Not-not-dead" which was the closest I could get to it. Who am I? "Vell, Zaphod's just 'zi guy you know?" ... pretty much sums me up :) I am an ordinary guy from Kent, England whose only claim to fame is he's survived to 56 so far. I am married and I have two daughters aged 24 and 18. I do computers pretty much. I've worked with them for 25 years and been freaky about them for 30 or more ... my first computer was a Commodore VIC 20 ... since then, thanks in part to Mr. Sugar's ultra cheap PC clone (The Amstrad PC 8512), I got into the computer industry (from a career in science support) and now work in some terminally dull job in an all too well known outsourcing company that (like most such companies I guess) seems more interested in how few staff they can employ and low a budget they can work with to provide their questionable service. I've been using versions of cPanel for around 5 years ever since I built my first PhPBB forum (now I use Joomla but I'm still a bit of a PHP fan). I tend to do only the bare minimum though. Why what? Why who? No idea what that means but I'm a science fiction freak, a computer nut who is slightly disillusioned by computers and by Windows (I use Win 8 but don't like it much) and I'm a wannabe author currently writing a post-apocalyptic tale of a future society based on alternate history if that makes any sense :) Keke 0 -
