    Hello everyone. I am a web designer/developer looking to learn more about web hosting. Goal is to directly sell hosting only to my clients so I can control how many websites are on a server to improve performance of sites. Since I'm new I am looking to learn from those who came before me on best practices, how to operate a private web hosting business etc.

    Hello all. I write and manage a number of websites in Oregon. Came to this forum last week after many sites have migrated to cPanel and now are broken. This forum is great with ideas pointing to differences, until now I thought all servers were identical as far as core interpret functions. php5 isn't especially php5 - while it's comforting to know others have similar problems it's also frustrating to waste time researching the fix. I wish the forum owner allowed personal messages or emails between members, when they allow it, as is done on other vBulletin forums, soas to contact members with obvious answers to one's problems. I also don't understand my inability to alter my own profile. Oh well.

    Howdy everyone, I run a couple of gaming fansites, and am moving them over from my old host's custom Panel to WHM/cPanel for the first time. I've gotten a couple domains set up and compiled PHP, but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to get my xcache settings customized without using a php.ini file that will be overwritten any time I make a change in WHM's editor. Thus, my next post will be asking for help on that topic :P

After paying many times to have a website designed, I have decided to do it personally, therefore I may really need some support. Right now, I'm challenged in re-directing my website it keep saying something like: Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request. Can someone help with that?
