Partition Errors - Is this something I should be worried about?
Hello, I was in the process of mounting a second backup hard drive for my server, and in the process came across the following error when I ran the 'fdisk -l' command:
"Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary."
Is this something I should be worried about? Is it fixable without having to move or put at risk all my hosting clients on that drive?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Not a problem - ignore it The concept of "cylinders" is meaningless on modern disks Merely maintained for compatability 0 -
Yes, the previous post is accurate. Modern hard drives do not utilize cylinder boundaries. Thank you. 0 -
