Stop Autoresponder bounces going to Mailer-Daemon ?
Hi,
I own a server where clients set-up autoresponders via their cpanel.
As server admin email address, I get a tonne of autoresponder messages being sent to Mailer-Daemon@myserver.com, which they come to me, I guess as the result of fake spam email address to the autoresponder email.
Is there anything I can do to stop these coming to me?
Thanks.
Will.

Hello :) The following feature request may interest you: [url=http://features.cpanel.net/responses/autoresponders-should-ignore-spams-not-reply-to-them]Autoresponders should ignore spams -- not reply to them You may also want to configure a User Level Filter for the email address associated with the autoresponder to discard certain messages before they are delivered. Thank you. 0 -
Since it's vacation time, I would like to bump this thread for more comments. I suppose this is related to another long standing issue/request: filter spam before forwarders. Am I right? Should these two be merged? This worked for me .... set the Autoreponder Interval to a very high figure, like 720 hours. 0 -
Even with spam filter, some spams may still get through. Is it possible to tell the Mailer-Daemon@ to completely ignore all failed "auto-responded" messages or at least don't forward them to root? 0 -

You could setup a filter to discard those messages so you do not receive them in your inbox. Thank you.0
