Hello :) Please note that assistance with FFMPEG software application installations (including software that utilizes this software) and technical support for this piece of software are not available from cPanel. While FFMPEG software is distributed subject to GPL licenses, the use and installation of the software may also require patent licenses from third parties. Because of the legal uncertainty relating to the FFMPEG software application, we are not able to assist in the installation or troubleshooting of FFMPEG. This is not legal advice or a legal opinion. We are simply explaining that our participation in the installation/troubleshooting of this software is not available. Please see the following location for any legal discussion: FFmpeg License and Legal Considerations You may want to try searching for installation assistance on forums where FFMPEG discussions occur. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply, I understand there is no official support from cPanel for ffmpeg. I just want a general opinion as to where I should be looking to fix this, since there are quite a few experienced admins around on the forums. Please note that FFMPEG and FFMPEG-PHP are 2 separate things. You have installed FFMPEG now. You need PHP's FFMPEG extension. You can find it out here [url=http://www.elinux.co.in/how-to-install-ffmpeg-php/]Elinux.co.in | Linux Cpanel/ WHM blog | Linux Webhosting Blog, Linux blogsHow to install ffmpeg-php in linux, How to install ffmpeg-php, how to install ffmpeg-PHP for newbies to linux, How to Install ffmpeg ffmpeg-php CentOS with Cpanel | Linux and once done just add extension=ffmpeg-php.so in your php.ini file. Hope this help :)
