it would have to have its own dedicated IP and in "WHM >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Manager" under the "Domains and IPs" tab: "Send mail from account"s dedicated IP address" Per the option description, this will automatically send outgoing mail from the account"s IP address instead of the main IP address. Warning: If you turn this setting on, make sure that reverse DNS entries match the ones in /etc/mail_reverse_dns.

Hello :) Yes, the previous post is accurate. It's documented at: Changing the Sending IP for Outbound Email in Exim Thank you.

Wouldn't this turn on this function for ALL accounts instead of just one? As per the OP's question, is there a way to have one (or some, but not all) account with a dedicated IP use their IP for SMTP, while the rest use the main IP (including those with dedicated IPs)?

No, the document I provided displays information on how to manually configure the IP addresses Exim uses to send email for each domain name. It includes information on manually editing the /etc/mailhelo and /etc/mailips file. Thank you.
