Daily Log Rotations
Hello,
We recently switched our dedicated servers and was going through this morning to do some final fine tuning. The server has been up now of 2 days. I noticed that none of our log files in the /var/log/* and /usr/apache/logs/* have been rotated and becoming quite large. I checked the cron log file and it indicates that the cron.daily is being executed and calls up the logrotation in the cron.daily folder but none of the logs are being compressed or rotated. I checked and the logrotation.conf is there & related files but haven't figured out why they are not being rotated yet. I know you can control the Cpanel logs in the WHM but as far as I know this has no control over the other log rotations unless I'm missing something.
Any help or suggestions appreciated.

cPanel Log Rotation Configuration - cPanel Documentation [QUOTE]Files from /usr/local/cpanel/logs selected below will be rotated based upon their size. The rotated files will be compressed and stored in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/archive/. The files are named to include the month in which they are rotated. Consequently, the file names do not relate in any way to the content of the file being rotated. Files are only rotated when they grow larger than the WHM >> Tweak Settings >> Log Rotation Size Threshold or the default of 300MB. The archived log files are left in place indefinitely. Files not chosen here will not ever be rotated by cPanel software.
