Hello :) To clarify, you are using the File Manager option in cPanel correct? Do you get a specific error message while attempting to edit a file, or is it just not formatting your page the way you intend it to? Thank you.

cPanel is introducing a new HTML editor in version 11.40. The existing editor is known to contain several flaws. Have you tried modifying the HTML page on a third-party editor in your desktop, and then uploading the file via FTP? Thank you.

It just easier to do it all through the editor.

I recommend using a third-party HTML editor until your server is updated to cPanel version 11.40. It's currently only available in the Edge build tier, so it's not intended for production machines at this time. Thank you.
