    Hello :) Check the following log file after logging in to see if you notice any specific entries at the time of the last failure: /var/log/secure
    Also, do you have any third-party firewall rules enabled that could be blocking the connection? Does the issue persist when you disable any such firewall rules? Thank you.

    Hi yes i found it the firewall csf when i turn it off i can login fine, I need to add my I.P to the I.P tables but unsure how to.

    There is a "Quick Allow" option in the CSF user-interface available in Web Host Manager that you can use to white list your IP address. Thank you.

    Yes done that ages ago, perhaps its something else i need to do.

    You may want to post directly to the ConfigServer forums for assistance with CSF if you feel it's a separate option in the CSF configuraton that is terminating the connection. Thank you.

    If CSF/LFD is blocking your IP you should see in in /var/log/lfd.log
