    Hello :) You can try generating a new CSR/Key, and then have an updated CRT regenerated by your SSL provider based on the new CSR. Most SSL issuers can accommodate that type of request. Thank you.

    Looks like I've found the cause of the problem and it was that I was using IE 10. Contacted cPanel support yesterday and they were able to install the certificate without any problems. Tried just now via IE and I was still getting an error. When I logged in using Firefox instead I found there was slightly more information displayed on the page and it worked straight away installing the certificate without generating any errors. For an example of how the display is different on the "Activate SSL on Your Web Site" page under "Manage Installed SSL Hosts, in Firefox I see the currently installed certificate, while in IE it doesn't display anything other than saying "no records found".
