Hello :) Is the destination machine going to run CentOS 6, RHEL 6, or Cloud Linux 6? If so, SNI is supported and you will be able to install a SSL certificate on a shared IP address without the need to use the hostname in the URL. Thank you.

Yeah the desintation is running CentOS and cPanel. They are identical other than the fact that I need to use SNI. However, when I setup SSL on that account it tells you that you that the url you use for https is https:///~ . With that said it is as if we cannot use HTTPS without putting that ~/. That is the primary problem as far as I can tell right now.

What version of cPanel and CentOS is installed? Also, what steps are you taking to install the SSL certificate? Thank you.
