Modify an Account

Hello, I have quick question. Never came across this change before. I have an account who will be changing their account domain name. They want to keep their existing site intact but will be changing the domain name. Now if go into the WHM >> Modify an Account and just change the primary domain name will everything else remain the same, all other setting for the account? Thanks, Mike

  Hello :) Using that option will change all instances of the original domain name to the new domain name in the server configuration files (cPanel, Apache, Email, etc). No other data is modified, and any settings in the scripts that the user has uploaded will not change. Thank you.

  Ok thank you. This is what I thought but wanted to make sure before making the change. Never had to actual change just the primary domain name for any of our accounts, and leave everything else intact, before. MIke
