Configure a smarthost for LOCAL mail

Hi List, The smarthost option which can be set in the Exim basic configuration currently only works for outbound mail. It does not cover the local mail. So, for example, if dave@server1 sends an email to john@server1, it does not get sent to the smarthost and is delivered directly to john's mailbox. This creates a problem when you want all mail, including local mail, to go through the smarthost. I've done a whole lot of tests trying a variety of configurations, it just doesn't work, and local mail stays local. Cpanel tech support has confirmed that can't be done with the existing setup and advised that I find an Exim guru in the forums! Anyone who can help? Regards, Norman
