EXIM IPv6 smtp thoughts
Hello, I hope someone has found a solution for this before 11.40 rolls out in RELEASE. What I have seen now when enabling IPv6 for accounts is that when the server sends out emails he uses the last added IPv6 IP from the range to do so, not the static IPv6 IP configured on the NIC.
What needs to be done is to be able to force Exim to use a certain IP/IPv6 to send out email.
Having Exim use a random IPv6 IP after it's added to the server via WHM will cause problems due to reverse dns is not neccessarily added for each IP.
Does any one have a solution on howto solve this?

We are aware that Exim prefers IPv6 over IPv4. We are working to change this prior to pushing 11.40 to the RELEASE tier. Please keep in mind that at this time we only support IPv6 for web content. A future release will support IPv6 for sending and receiving email. 0
