Wordpress Error on VDS Server

Hello, I installed wordpress to my VDS server. For the first time when I was trying to install wp importer plugin it gave an error that "An unexpected error has occurred. WordPress.org servers, server settings or something may be wrong. If the problem continues to refer to the support forums." But when I delete and install worpdress again it works fine. I tried it more and more for the new account and for the new fresh installation it gives error. I think there is something in configuration of apache or php. Have you met this type of problem before? Thanks

  Hello :) What method are you using to install WordPress? Are you installing it through the "Site Software" option in cPanel, or installing it manually with the installation guide provided by WordPress? Thank you.

  Hello, I use manual way to install WP. I think the server can't connect to wordpress.org. Because I get the same error when try to search plugin in admin area. By the way I use centos 6 and csf firewall. Thanks

  You may want to consult with the developer of this plugin, or with the WordPress support forums to see if any other users have experienced this issue. Beyond that, you can try temporarily disabling your firewall to see if that makes a difference. Thank you.

  I have searched solution for 2 weeks. Unfortunately solutions did not help me. I disabled firewall but it remains the same issue. Thanks for your response. If anyone have solution please share with me. Thanks
