is forwarder uses resources?

Hi everyone, i have a question about mail forwarders, i want to give my website's users a mail forwarder! you know in other word's i want to create an email forwarder for each users that directly forwards incoming mails, to his/him personal mailbox (such as yahoo or gmail and so on), i want to do it without creating a corresponding mail so it will not save or received and directly forward to another account (for auto deleting) the question is, if i do this, what Risks i am facing with? Or is the mail forwarder (in this condition) using my resources such as bandwidth or disk space and totally what will happens? thanks

  Hello :) The primary concern is that SPAM may be sent to your email address, and then forwarded to the remote mail server. This may result in the remote mail server blocking the server your website is hosted on. Other than that, I would not expect there to be an issue with disk space or bandwidth because the emails are forwarded and not stored on your account. Thank you.

  OK! thank you for answer, so i can not do this in a secure way? (you know, fight with spam)? or is there any other way i can use?

  One alternative that some users implement is to create the email account, and ensure SpamAssassin is enabled for the account. Then setup the forwarder. This will ensure forwarded email is checked by SpamAssassin before it's forwarded. You can setup a cron job to automatically delete the email on the server if necessary. Thank you.
