cron backup

Hi, I have a hosting with cpanel 11.38.1 (build 15) and want to know how to program a cron to do a backup of my home directory, and another cron to do a backup of the database. thanks

  Hello :) You can browse to the "Backup Wizard" option in cPanel to backup the full account or certain aspects of it. Setting up a cron job to backup the accounts or databases with cPanel backup utilities will not be possible with only a shared hosting account. Your hosting provider should be able to let you know if backups are enabled on the server. Thank you.
