Dovcot timeouts / slow

I'm on WHM 11.40.0 (build 19) In the last week or so I've been having a lot of problems with Dovcot, after sending an email via Thunderbird it can take quite a long time to copy the email to the sent messages folder, I've also had problems copying/moving messages from one mail box to another. The copy problem doesn't happen when copying to and from all mailboxes just certain ones, its very odd. I've reluctantly switched to courier at the moment and everything is working fine(ish) although I've had to increase lots of settings in the "Mailserver Configuration". Pete

  Dovecot 2.2 is not very forgiving about incorrect permissions as earlier versions. You might try running /scripts/mailperm to correct any incorrect permissions and then switching back.
