Keeping Timestamps from one server to another

I know this is a bit old, but when I do this the timestamps all seem to be reset. So Outlook sees them all as brand new emails. I can right click on them and check the original properties but this is it. Is there anyway to maintain the original timestamps in the headers? I was originally reading this thread here...

  Hello :) Are you using POP3 or IMAP to view your email messages in Outlook? What method did you use to move the emails (e.g. account backup or manually)? Thank you.
