Issues with High Server Load

Hi, My load goes to almost 200. I went ahead and renamed sendmail to sendmail.bak in the /usr/sbin location and then load drops to 1. Any idea how to fix sendmail so it doesn't cause a huge server load because then no emails are being sent and received. Thanks, Dennis

  Are you sure its sendmail that causing problem. Try top command in SSH top
  Also, what is max mails per hour limit in your WHM Home >> Tweak settings >> Mails And how many mails you have in WHM Home >> Email >> Mail Queue Manager

  Hello :) I recommend reviewing /var/log/exim_mainlog or your mail queue to see which account is sending out email. It's possible there is a spammer sending large amounts of email out which is resulting in a high server load.
