Selectively Restore from a Full Backup.

I want to selectively restore only some folders and files to my server from a full Backup. I have uploaded the .tar Backup to my server and placed it in the Home directory. I have access only to the CPanel and not the WHM. Is there a way to do this under the circumstances within the CPanel itself? If not, is there a way to do this some other way or using a 3rd party software? I have a copy of the Backup also on my windows computer. Thank you for any suggestions, zabberwan.

  Hello :) You could extract the archive on your computer and then manually upload the files you want to replace via FTP. Thank you.

  Hello Michael, Thank you very much for the suggestion. I came across your reply just by chance, so pardon me for thanking you after so many days. Why is the email notification on new replies etc. not working on the forum? I have a couple of other [COLOR="#ff6600">CPanel related questions, but I will post them separately. Regards, zabberwan
