Are you trying to login with root or with cpanel username ? If its cpanel username just try reset from whm. Also make sure that you IP is not blocked on cphulk

Its ok, it working now, i believe it was something with whm, because i could not login for about 10 min and now i loged in with old root password. I did changed password straight away just in case. iserversupport, i could not login to whm or cpanel, but like i said, it probably was same bug in WHM or something. Thanks

It can also happen if you IP was on cphulk database and you are able to login now when your IP changed to new one.

Hello :) It's likely the "root" user was locked out by cPhulk. You may want to add your personal IP address to the white list via: "WHM Home " Security Center " cPHulk Brute Force Protection" Thank you.

My only advice about the white-list is being careful about it if you do not have a static IP from your ISP. While I will admit it's unlikely - if the stars and the planets aligned just right and somebody malicious got your old IP - they would have unfettered access to brute force your cPanel/WHM if their IP was white-listed [i.e. your old IP]. Just a consideration if you host anything sensitive on the server. Unlikely? Yes. Possible? Absolutely. Stranger things have happened.
