ProFTPD - can't create new files in FTP?

Hi guys, Got 2 questions: I have a problem with my proFTPD on my server. I can create new directories but creating new files is not allowed. How can i allow this? And the permissions are by default "542 543" in FTP. but in cPanel it is 644 for files and 755 by default how can i fix this? Thanks!

  Looks weird. Did you login to the server using SSH and confirmed this? What is the result of "ls -al" in that directory?

  Hello :) Yes, please let us know the specific error message you receive when attempting to create a new file. Also, have you tried using an alternate FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) to see if you encounter the same issue? Thank you.
