WHM Error "Old password incorrect" Every time

Into WHM I checked the box marked "Password Age", and "Password Strength" it makes changing my password impossible, and as a result locks everyone out of their account (including root). When i try to change my password "Password Strength" indicator returns "Old password incorrect" every time i enter a character into the password field. (i remember i old password) Getting this error Old password incorrect I can login to my WHM but password are not changing ....... How can i change my WHM password or how to solve this?

  re: WHM Error "Old password incorrect" Every time SSH in and run 'passwd root' which will update roots password for SSH and WHM. From there you should be able to use the list accounts menu or other WHM functions to change individual account passwords. If you cannot get in to SSH you may need to have your data center 'single user' the server to reset the password. This requires rebooting the server.
