Apache Slowly Starting to Fail - Rebuild of Using EasyApache Temporarily Fixes the Problem

I have an issue with Apache and that it is failing consistently, restarting it and even restarting the VPS doesn't fix the problem. I have to rebuild Apache and once i do that, everything comes back online but it falls back into the same issue of stalling a day or two later. I have to rebuild Apache in order to keep the web server running.

    There is a lot more to Apache than simply whether it's installed or not. There are different MPMs [Multi-Processing Modules] such as Event, Pre-Fork, etc... Depending on which MPM you're using there are various settings as well - lower and upper bounds. It sounds to me like you're likely not optimized for the amount of traffic you're receiving. I'd look into hiring an administrator, even if temporarily, that is experienced with optimizing Apache.

    That sounds like a shameless plug more than it does an offer for help. There is no high load on the server and I'm not sure how you can make that assumption without asking about the log file or asking about the hardware resources on the server. It is setup using cPanel's Jailbreak with RUID2 and DSO with PHP ACP for caching. Anyone else have any ideas where to start looking.

    I do not provide server administration to third party servers nor does the company I'm associated with - so I'm not entirely sure what I'd be plugging - I've nothing to sell you to resolve this issue.     Years upon years of experience with Linux+Apache and Optimizing Apache is how I can make some of those educated assumptions. I could be wrong - but I'm just trying to point you in the right direction as far as things to check based upon what little information you've provided in this thread. If you feel my response wasn't helpful - I'm sorry - don't follow my advice then.
