cPHulk Settings/Whitelist

So I recently migrated all my accounts to a new centos 6.4 64bit server which all went well. Anyway, I setup cPhulk to email me whenever root was detected logging in. I added my home IP(static) to the whitelist thinking that would then exempt it from emailing me whenever a connection from my home ip was detected as I have obviously whitelisted the ip to never stop it connecting.
Is that how it is supposed to work? As I am getting an email every 30 mins when my backup runs to rsync any new data back to home nas box.
If so, it would be nice for a checkbox to only send emails from non-whitelisted hosts, and I'll just have to turn off the email notification.

Actually, The setting is "Send a notification upon successful root login when the IP is not whitelisted" so why is it emailing me? My IP is in the whitelist and my IP hasn't changed since 2008 as it is static on request. Could it be due to the rDNS entry that is failing to resolve it to an IP? I don't see why it would as it would get the IP before it got anything else. 0
