[check_cpanel_rpms] Altered RPMs found on....
Hi I aploigise in advance - I would consider myself a beginner:
I have had this email sent to me at 02:24:
Problems were detected with cPanel-provided files which are RPM controlled.
If you did not make these changes intentionally, you can correct them by running:
> /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --fix
The following RPMs are found to be altered from their original install state:
bandmin,1.6.1,9.cp1136,/var/log/bandwidth
Then at another email was sent to me at 06.05:
The file system /dev/md127p1, which is mounted at /boot, has reached warn status because it is 87% full.
Server: [i've removed this]
Primary IP: [i've removed this]
Notification Type: diskwarn
Filesystem: /dev/md127p1
Mount Point: /boot
Percentage Full: 87%
Disk Information:
Used: 0.08GB
Available: 0.01GB
Total: 0.09GB
ChkServd Version: 15.2

Is this an important warning and is this a common issue or some fault? I would be grateful of the community's support.

Hello :) These are two separate warning messages. 1. Please run the following command: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --fix
Check to see if you continue to receive these email warnings after running the above command. 2. Check to see what files in your /boot partition are using up your space. The following document is helpful for checking the space of a partition: cPanel - Manage HD Space Note: It's a good idea to open separate threads for each individual issue should you experience multiple issues in the future. Thank you.0 -
Thank you okay let's focus on issue 1. What happens if I choose to ignore this command? Is it critical that I run this as the website seems to be fine? My main worry is that if I run this it will cause me downtime? Is this true? 0 -
While it's not necessary for your websites to operate, it's a good idea to ensure your RPMs are installed correctly. The use of the "/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --fix" command should not cause any problems for Apache or any other services. Thank you. 0
