wordpress backup
I have a home director backup and mysql backups for my site. I have uploaded this to a new host and am setting it up to be exactly the same but .net rather than .com
All the files are in the .net home directory and i have had to do a couple of changes to the wordpress config files but have managed to get it working-at least on the preview site.
my question is -can i og on to a wordpress admin page for the database I uploaded, if so how do i do so.
i thought I could do it by using usernames that i edited through myphp but no success so far?

Hello :) You should be able to access the WordPress administrative interface using the same login details you used in the past, assuming you restored the previous database.
