Disable all mail functions for a domain with with remote delivery.
Domain.com email is not hosted on the cPanel/WHM server and it keeps accepting mail for delivery to user@domain.com. I would like any and all mail to/from domain.com {sent, bounce, non-deliverable, read receipts etc.} to simply have the connection reset.
Is there a simple way to totally disable all mail transport for a specific domain. I have found a couple of posts but nothing that seems to be compatible with v11.40.0

Hello :) Edit the DNS zone for this domain name via: "WHM Home " DNS Functions " Edit DNS Zone" Make sure the "Email Routing" is configured to: "Remote Mail Exchanger" This will ensure email for this domain name is always handled by the remote mail server where it's email is hosted. Thank you. 0 -
That is all fine and dandy if the sender honors the MX Records. But the problem is sender is attempting direct delivery to the domains web site address. And the domain does not send or receive mail from the webserver. Thus I would like to simply reset the connection any email delivery directed to/from domain.com [quote="cPanelMichael, post: 1527211">Hello :) Edit the DNS zone for this domain name via: "WHM Home " DNS Functions " Edit DNS Zone" Make sure the "Email Routing" is configured to: "Remote Mail Exchanger" This will ensure email for this domain name is always handled by the remote mail server where it's email is hosted. The emails should not deliver if the domain name is in the /etc/remotedomains file. Modifying the "Email Routing" value to "Remote Mail Exchanger" should ensure the domain name is in this file. Is it already in the /etc/remotedomains file and the issue is still occurring? Thank you. 0
