cPanel / CentOS / CSF Network Services Stops after Reboot
Hello,
I have recently migrated to a VPS - its CentOS 6, cPanel and WHM.
I have additionally installed CSF on the VPS.
The above configuration was working fine from last 3 months, but last week, I received a notification that CSF was automatically updated (through cPanel or by it own) and after that update (or some other update about which I do not have any idea), a strange problem has started occuring.
I reboot the VPS and I am unable to access it by any means - the web server (apache) stops, pop3 stops, ftp stops, ssh stops, I completely lose control over it.
I received notifications from the server, once its gets recovered -

Can you help me how to fix this, as the moment I reboot the server, all network services stops working, I am a Windows Guy and Learning how to manage Linux, I am posting here with a hope that someone may have come through this problem and can share his comments with me.
Is this caused by the CSF update? Should I remove CSF? I am very happy with CSF as it helps me block all the brute force attacks, and dont want to remove this beautiful software.
Many thanks for the replies and suggestions.

Hello :) Do you experience this issue if you temporarily disable CSF? Is the issue resolved if you restart the "ipaliases" service? EX: service ipaliases restart
Thank you.0 -
Hello, When I disable CSF, the problem does not occur. But I dont want to disable CSF Rajiv 0 -
I recommend consulting with CSF support directly on their support forums if the issue is isolated to their software. Their developers may have a workaround or know of the cause of this problem. Thank you. 0
