Accessing the /usr directory
I have cPanel running on my bluehost account, but there is no usr/ or usr/local/cpanel directory anywhere to be found in the file manager.
Is this in the cPanel install on the server itself? Is there a way to access this through cPanel?
I'm specifically trying to access:
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/dispatchcpustats
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/dispatchstats
as suggested in this thread.
Thanks

Re: Accessing the usr/ directory There is no way to access /usr from the File Manager, and even if you could see it, you would not be able to execute a command from the File Manager. The File Manager only shows you files and directories in your own account's home directory, and /usr is not in your account's home directory. Also, to run the commands, you would need root shell access. There is no way to get that with only a cPanel hosting account. You need to ask your hosting provider for help with this, because you do not have access to the commands you are trying to run. 0 -
