Anyone using HostGator dedicated servers?

Greetings, I am looking at using dedicated servers at HostGator. Is anyone else using them and can you offer an opinion. I have been using Softlayer for years. Sadly, it seems that machines in their care are often being hijacked and used in hacking/DoS attacks...which subsequently get entire Softlayer subnets blocked by a good portion of my customer base, which in turn costs me a lot of business.
